So, a funny thing happened back in March of this year. The headline to this story really speaks for itself:
“Reince Priebus: RNC Planning $10 Million Minority Outreach.”
Funny right? After this past week of Zimmerman verdicts and Ted Nugent saying Zimmerman should sue Trayvon Martin’s parents for pain and suffering, no, seriously, he said that, I really thought it was 1985 all over again and I was watching a movie from my childhood.
Reince, it turns out, is Monty Brewster. He has to blow $10 million trying to get blacks to like the GOP in order to get the real prize of $100 million dollars; paid for by white, wealthy individual donors in their respective states looking to influence 2014 elections.
That has to be it because there is no other logical explanation for why the GOP would spend all that money trying to reach black people. And $10 million? Nigga, please. That’s chump change! You want to reach black people you have do put your money where your mouth is. Unfortunately for the GOP, their mouth is filled with all sorts of racist shit.
The way the plot goes, Reince is not allowed to tell anybody why he blew the $10 mil or he loses it all. Further, once spent he must also have nothing to show for it. Based on the RNC’s track record with black people, you would think that would be easy.
But this week Warren Cox, played here by George Zimmerman’s trial, fucked that up for the RNC. The trial and its verdict proved that Republicans do have something to show for their efforts. They have given black people yet another reminder as to why never to vote for them. The blatant racism Republicans have shown this past week, along with their utter contempt and distain for Trayvon Martin and his parents, ensures that black people will go to the polls in 2014, look at the selection of GOP candidates before them, and loudly and proudly shout in unison “none of the above!”
As far as remakes go, this one is a classic.
And tell me that’s not Rupert Murdoch.

What is Emotional Intelligence? “Emotional intelligence (EI) refers to the ability to perceive, control and evaluate emotions. Some researchers suggest that emotional intelligence can be learned and strengthened, while others claim it is an inborn characteristic…The ability to manage emotions effectively is a key part of emotional intelligence. Regulating emotions, responding appropriately and responding to the emotions of others are all important aspect of emotional management.”
Now, when you put this definition to the test this week I think it becomes obviously clear that those on the right are devoid of this type of intelligence. For example: the other day Roberto Calderoli, an Italian Politician, compared the First Black Minister Cecile Kyenge to an Orangutan:
“I love animals – bears and wolves, as everyone knows – but when I see the pictures of Kyenge I cannot but think of, even if I’m not saying she is one, the features of an orangutan…”
“Most of the racist taunts – “Congolese monkey”, “Zulu” and “the black anti-Italian” – have come from far-right groups.”
That he thinks this is one thing. That he said it out loud within earshot of a journalist is quite another. Here in America, we have very similar problems. For example, after George Zimmerman was acquitted yesterday it was praised by folks like Ann Coulter and Geraldo Rivera who said about the jurors on the case:
“I see those six ladies in the jury putting themselves on that rainy night, in that housing complex that has just been burglarized by three or four different groups of black youngsters from the adjacent community. So it’s a dark night, a 6-foot-2-inch, hoodie-wearing stranger is in the immediate housing complex. How would the ladies of that jury have reacted? I submit that if they were armed, they would have shot and killed Trayvon Martin a lot sooner than George Zimmerman did. This is self defense.”
Zimmerman’s lawyer Mark O’Mara couldn’t help himself either: “If George Zimmerman Were Black ‘He Never Would’ve Been Charged With A Crime’.”
Now in all fairness, liberals are by no means innocent of racism or having bad thoughts about people who may be different from them. The O.J. trial proved that fact while black men are incarcerated in record numbers without nary a mention. But the biggest differentiator separating the knuckle-draggers from the rest of us is that those on the left don’t usually say these things in the public space, on the record, in print, on the teevee machine or on a daily basis.
According to the leading psychologists on the subject of EI, Dr. Peter Salovey and Dr. John D. Mayer:
“The lowest level branch [of emotional intelligence] concerns the (relatively) simple abilities of perceiving and expressing emotion. In contrast, the highest level branch concerns the conscious, reflective regulation of emotion.”
So is the bottom line that the right has mental ability at the lowest levels of EI?
“Emotionally intelligent individuals accurately perceive their emotions and use integrated, sophisticated approaches to regulate them as they proceed toward important goals (Salovey & Mayer 201).”
As far as I can tell the left will not be rioting over the Zimmerman decision. I imagine there will be protests, but they will most likely be peaceful, without guns and without signs that instruct us to “water the tree of liberty with the blood of tyrants” or some other such nonsense. That stuff is best saved for those devoid of EI. Thanks to this weeks news cycle it has become easy to see who is who.

The verdict is in and it is of O.J. proportions. I am proud to say I did not spend one second of my time watching the trial, nor did I care much for that Zimmerman fella. He’s really been hitting the mess hall since this whole hullabaloo began, huh? I’m just saying the dude is chubby.
So, what now? Let me tell you what now. ‘Ol George is now a free man. He’s free to walk the streets once again and perhaps even become honorary sheriff of that town where he does that watchmen thing.
But before that happens, I am thinking that if I were George Zimmerman I would want to cash in on this as quickly as possible. So what does the future hold for the mall cop? I am guessing a book deal, an “exclusive” interview on FOX, speaking engagements at NRA conventions, and, I am sure, backstage passes to any Ted Nugent concert, and I mean ANY.
So, let me make sure I have it straight. One kid is dead while another is alive and soon to be making money off of him. George Zimmerman will probably get his gun back and be given a raise. Jodi Arias and Zimmerman may do a porno together and Nancy Grace will have to find another group of dead people to exploit.
Sounds about normal for a Saturday evening to me.

To this I say, “please proceed.”
If you follow politics then you know Republican’s are great at only one thing, winning elections. They’ll do anything to win. They will make up stories, lie, cheat, redistrict, disenfranchise, you name it.
Abortion is no different.
Remember during the last round of Presidential debates when President Obama let Romney hang himself on his failed Benghazi gotcha attempt?:
“”Please proceed, governor,” Obama told Romney when his foe pressed him on whether he called the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi an “act of terror” the next day.”
Democrats know that when ever Republicans get their way things go south very quickly. Economies crumble, buildings are destroyed, wars spring up, bridges collapse, people suffer, and on and on. The abortion issue will be no different. They always forget that their base of insane, low-thinking men and their crazy subservient woman is not representative of the country. They are a minority whose education of guns makes them think they are smarter while the rest of us know it just means they are more dangerous.
It is time once again to hand the keys over to the crazies who demand a turn at the wheel. I say we give it to them and just strap on our seat belts and scream. They will crash and burn, that much is certain, albeit at the expense of women and their safety and health. But it won’t be the first time and as long as there is a Republican party it may just be a necessary evil to get them out of the way once again.
I am sorry for all the women who will be affected by the Republicans’ irresponsibility and inability to understand basic concepts of decency, but if we are to ever rid ourselves of their threats and their desire to govern away the rights of woman, and everyone else for that matter, we must get past this latest travesty, hold our breath and just simply say to them “please proceed.”

It’s getting harder to tell where these photos originate from, so I thought I would share a few ideas and see if you can tell which is correct.
- Middle east?
- Mets just gave up a no hitter?
- Justin Bieber did not do a third encore?
- The closing number of Fiddler on the Roof just before intermission?
- The price of coffee just dropped at the Merc?
Seriously, why do they even bother sending photographers to this region anymore? The images can be from almost any year for any reason.

Behold! “The final opportunity to shoot high-capacity magazines in the state of Colorado before a ban on 15-round clips goes into effect on Monday. Does this guy realize that his extended clip is blatantly homo-erotic? Gun lovers are so silly, it’s downright embarrassing.

What a world we live in when people support the spread of dangerous weapons without the slightest hint of regulation but will fight tooth and nail to stop gay people from marrying. I wonder which of these two issues Jesus would object to more? And if we were living in Biblical times wouldn’t Republicans consider Jesus to be an occupying, long haired tree hugger?
I am going to make a prediction that 10 years from now the number of gays marrying will be a footnote compared to those killed by guns. I wonder which of these will have made this country worse off?

To anyone who may have visited this site in Google Chrome and found a malware screen blocking entry, I apologize. This was an issue with a link I had on the right hand side of the page.
Kind of proud of myself for finding it and it has been removed. Anywho…

The other day ThinkProgress had a piece that went like this: A citizenry that’s constantly on guard for secret, unaccountable surveillance is one that’s constantly being remade along the lines the state would prefer. [French social theorist Michel] Foucault illustrated this point by reference to a hypothetical prison called the Panopticon. Designed by utilitarian philosopher Jeremy Bentham, the Panopticon is a prison where all cells can be seen from a central tower shielded such that the guards can see out but the prisoners can’t see in. The prisoners in the Panopticon could thus never know whether they were being surveilled, meaning that they have to, if they want to avoid running the risk of severe punishment, assume that they were being watched at all times. Thus, the Panopticon functioned as an effective tool of social control even when it wasn’t being staffed by a single guard.
Ugh. I swear, sometimes I think people just need something to talk about. This NSA non-story and all the hullabaloo around Panopticons and evil government plots to imprison our minds reminds me alot of Rob Halford of Judas Priest.
What, I have to explain this? Oh, ok.
You see, when I was 15 I was a huge Judas Priest fan. I, and alot of others like me, loved to watch Rob Halford prance around on stage and in videos donned head to toe in leather because, gosh darn it, he was bad-ass. I have to admit, putting it together that he was gay never really dawned on me. Say what you will, but most metal heads back then did not give it much thought. The fact that he wore only tight leather and carried whips on stage just made me think he was totally metal. Little did I know that he was actually telling the world year after year that he was headed to a gay bar right after the show.
When he finally came out years later, or I should say, when he finally said it out loud, we all sort of went meh…It’s not as if it was a surprise, but since he never came right out and told us we all just either ignored it, figured it was true, did not want to believe it, or honestly thought the leather was just something he liked to wear for comfort. In other words, we were young and naive and not really aware of how the world worked.
This NSA thing reminds me alot of Rob Halford. Knowing as fact that the NSA was and is spying on us is really getting somewhat of a “meh” reaction too. I mean, let’s compare: It’s not as if it was a surprise that the government is looking at everything we do, but since the NSA never came right out and said it we all just either ignored it, figured it was true, did not want to believe it, or honestly thought that twitter and Facebook were things only our followers and friends could see.
I guess the only thing that is different is that we are no longer young. We still, however, seem to miss what was right in front of us the whole time. You were smarter than all of us Rob Halford, and obviously still are.
Rock on dude!

Santa Monica, California (CNN) — The gunman’s rampage began at a home in this beachfront city, where two were found dead inside. Then he carjacked a woman and fired at a public bus. It all ended when police shot him dead at Santa Monica College as students studied for finals, a mile from the house. Authorities have found no link to domestic or international terror.
“No link to domestic or international terror.” Man, we really need to change the definition of terror. Too bad the gunman didn’t scream some kind of racial slur or look somewhat muslim. I can only assume that due to him being mentally unstable he must have been white and otherwise a normal citizen. Kind of like mildly mannered Clark Kent who suddenly becomes a rampaging Superman.
Rest assured this story will quietly disappear into the annals of gun nuttery and be just another story about some nice guy who went off his meds. I am sure too that prior to this unfortunate incident he was one of those “responsible gun owners” we hear so much about.
And don’t worry all the rest of you, as of today, “responsible” gun owners. We won’t bother you. Now’s not the time. In fact, it really never is, is it?

People. People! We live in a world of tweets, facebook posts, cell phone texting, youtube video sharing, and a millieu of other electronic communications brought to you by giant corporations who you willingly share all of your deepest darkest secrets with. It is hilarious that now we are suddenly shocked to discover that all of this is readily available to anyone, including the government, to read, watch and listen to.
Today Obama had to go public to defend the government looking at the baggage we left at their door step to peruse at will. And to all those blaming Obama for this, as if he started it, your misguided anger is side splitting. Please read a history book and spend some time learning about what a National Security Agency and Central Intelligence agency does with its time.
Go back further than 2009 when you do your research. You might want to be sitting down for it.

That’s a quote today from New Jersey Governor Chris Christie. He said these words while talking about the fact that New Jersey now needs to fill a newly vacant Senate seat. It’s a situation that, like photos of Christie, is not pretty.
In addition to the predicament the Governor now finds himself in, for a politician to say they will not play politics with this vacant seat is like a baseball player saying they will not play baseball when handed a bat. It’s such a silly premise that it insults the intelligence of anyone who has any.
I can understand why Christie would say such a thing though. He’s actually quite the politician, popular as a Governor and seriously discussed as a Presidential contender in 2016. And just as assuredly as there is mustard stains on every piece of clothing this man owns, the replacement of the recently departed Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D) is most certainly political in every respect.
- Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D) was 89 and has been very old for some time so his death was no surprise.
- Lautenberg’s seat was up for grabs in 2014 and Corey Booker has been waiting in the wings to scoop it up.
- Obama fell over himself recently to make sure he was seen once more with Christie, ala Hurricane Sandy.
- This week it was also reported that Democratic donors — “including George Soros” — are contributing to Christie’s re-election campaign against Democrat Barbara Buono.
Coincidence? If you think so then you definitely do not play politics. The real problem for Christie is that he now has to pick a date and time for a special election as well as find an interim replacement in the meantime. Is he going to choose a Republican as interim Senator after all the Dems have done for him of late? Is he going to pick an interim Republican just in time to destroy Immigration Reform? Is he going to dis his base and push for an early special election, thus compromising any Republican opponent from mounting an effective campaign?
Lots of choices and they all sound political. For a guy who won’t be playing any, he’s got himself in quite the pickle. Mmmmmm…pickles.
Ok, Governor, you can eat now….

Walmart, tornados, cicada’s, Megyn Kelly, Oprah, Mitt Plans Return To Political Stage, IRS Employees Spent Government Funds To Film Dance Video, Obama To Visit Homophobic Culture At Vital Time….WTF??……Meet Abdulelah Haider Shaye, The Other Journalist The Obama Administration Has Targeted…..
Jeez. That’s alot right there. I have to admit, I decided to take a bit of a breather during all of this Obama bashing. IRS, Benghazi, journalist spying, you would think the President was in trouble. But nah. His numbers are up. It’s true! The guy is just likable by a good number of folks I guess. But it’s weird too. For some reason it seems so easy to yawn about all of this.
Could it be because my brain was manipulated? Were Republicans right about that one? I have to admit, it is weird that I am pretty much fine with Obama through all of this. Maybe it just means I am definitely a liberal, or maybe I just hate Republicans that much that I will stick with the Dems no matter what. Kind of like being a Cubs fan.
When you think about it, Obama has not been proven guilty of anything. Whereas, George Bush, for example, was so guilty there was no need to even bother. But really, Obama did not jail any journalists and none were arrested or brought to trial for anything. Benghazi is a total political farce and the IRS did the same shit to Dems back in the day I am sure, only nobody busted them for it.
It’s all a bunch of hooey and simply a reason for FOX to exist. So go back to doing whatever it was you were doing. There’s really nothing to see here. Thanks for stopping by though. It’s nice to be back.

Latest story out of the J. Edgar Hoover building is that the Boston bombers were headed to Times Square to wreak havoc there. Hearing this news, Mayor Bloomberg said “We don’t know if we’d been able to [stop an attack] if the terrorists had arrived from Boston. Bloomberg then continued to read from the terrorism script we have all come to know so well: ”The fact is New York City remains a prime target for those who hate America and want to kill Americans.”
I don’t know about you, but I just can’t stand that line. For me it’s right up there with the “evil doers who want to do us harm.” It is such a nonsensical, hollow piece of propaganda politicians throw at us every chance they get. It’s also a reminder of how stupid they all think we all are.
It reminds me of that scene from The Jerk when Navin R. Johnson is working at a gas station and the assassin, who randomly marked Navin for death, is now trying to shoot him. The shooter has really bad aim is ends up hitting all the cans. Navin, being the jerk that he is, thinks the shooter hates the oil cans and that getting away from them is his only hope for survival. For all you youngsters out there, this was during a simpler time when snipers were funny.
Now, if you put this scene into current political terms it is really quite revealing, at least to me. Until we face reality and understand the real target of the evil doers, only then might we start to figure a way out of this mess. The longer we avoid reality and replace it with patriotic sounding emptiness the greater our chances of getting shot.
Spoiler: The cans are not the ire of the hate.

It’s started. I have to say I am not surprised in the least. The media is like clockwork and the people who read HuffPost are as lemming-like as you might imagine. All day I have been reading comments like this:
“The younger follows the older in every shot. The younger seems oblivious to the presence of cameras and the consequences, while The older is wearing shades and trying to avoid being photographed, because he is the only one who understands what the heck is going to happen in the coming days. The older guy pulled his brother into this.
“If it does come out that the younger brother was going along with his older brother out of some misplaced sense of sibling loyalty, then I feel a little sorry for him.”
“Even so, the kid said he wanted to be A DOCTOR. How does that fit in with murdering innocent strangers?”
I would continue, but I might vomit on my keyboard. What in the holy hell is going on here? Just last week two people planted bombs in a crowd of marathoners, an entire city was closed down in their apprehension, four totally innocent people were murdered, scores lost limbs, and people now hope that the surviving murderer gets his wish to become a doctor?
I am sure cretin Nancy Grace will play up this story to the hilt while FOX’s Keith Ablow will do a body language analysis of the younger kid and determine that he was just brainwashed by his Charles Mason-like older brother. It will sell newspapers and get people tuning in.
But it also begs the question that nobody is asking: Does this mean Jodi Arias was brainwashed by love? Was that Adam Lanza psycho brainwashed by the NRA? Was Eric Harris brainwashed by Dylan Klebold? Was the aurora nut brainwashed by Batman?
Why is it that the story line of brainwashing only seems to come out with a bombing perpetrated by people with funny sounding names? Coincidence? Am I imagining things? Or maybe I’ve just been brainwashed into believing that.

This is something.
Fagor America, Inc., “the company that made the pressure cooker used in the Boston Marathon bombs said they are “deeply saddened” by the attack. Following that, the fucking battery company of those used to make the bomb go boom released a statement expressing condolences for the victims.
In other news, makers of AR-15′s and other gun manufacturers have released similar statements about how sorry they are that their products have been used millions of times to kill and maim.
Wow! One of these stories is actually true. Can you guess which one?

When I read about the Senate killing all hopes of greater checks and balances for guns an image popped into my head. It was the moment when OJ Simpson was acquitted of murder. There was a split screen on the T.V. showing black people cheering for a killer and white people looking forlorn and shocked. Remember?
The gun debate and the Senate throwing in the towel this week on background checks could have had the same split screen. Although race is not at play here, the reaction towards the guilty party would be exactly the same. After word came down that the Senate had failed to pass any sensible gun legislation you had one half cheering for the gun and the other half looking similarly forlorn and quite shocked that a killer will get off scott-free.
But again, like in OJ’s case, all is not lost. Justice will eventually be served, although it may take some time and perhaps more criminal activity before anything sticks. But rest assured, as with all true criminals their luck eventually runs out.
